FORD ESCORT MK1 1972 SPEEDSTER

From our concept and design, this unique Escort is something special.  Short wheelbase, with a 24 valve V6, 5 speed Getrag Gearbox and a host of modern ancillaries.

Described by Hagerty as looking completely wrong and yet strangely appealing, the car is shortened in length, the roof has been removed and a speedster style tweed tonneau cover designed and manufactured in its place.

Power comes from a 3litre V6 24valve Duratec engine producing 320bhp, a manual gearbox drives the rear wheels through a 5 linked Atlas Axle. ECU master takes car of the Electronic power management, drivers display and keypad.
